Heating of the exhibition rooms

The bachelor thesis delas with the heating of the exhibition rooms and preparation of the warm water. The building will be heated by plate radiators, convectors and underfloor heating. As a heat source is used a heat pump. Warm water is prepared in the DHW cylinder, heated by the heating water from the heat source. The project deals with the desig,n dimensioning and connection of these parts. The thesis also includes a theoretical part on the topic of underfloor heating.
Designing of a hot water heater

This thesis processes design of hot water heater. It was done thermal, hydraulic and basic strength calculations in the work and from their outcomes was set up a design of heat exchanger, which was afterwards modelled and drawn. In the beginning of the work is reader introduced to heat exchanger types and characteristics and also to its thermal processes. Then the work continues with thermal design of the heat exchanger, where the most important outcome is heat transfer surface with other geometric parameters, followed by hydraulic design, where pressure loss on water side was calculated. The calculations are finished up by basic strength design, calculating thickness of shell and tube walls. The thesis is ended with evaluation of computed design and description of its basic features.
Assessment of three types of heat exchangers

The aim of this thesis is to assess selected three types of heat exchangers designed for emergency cooling. The theoretical part of this thesis consists of a research containing an overview of exchangers. It includes a description of the construction of exchangers, characte-ristics in terms of heat transfer and an indication of the areas of its use. The practical part deals with the thermal and hydraulic design of two tube heat exchangers and a plate heat exchanger. Finally, the evaluation of the designed exchangers is performed.
Search in the area of boiler and their design

The aim of thesis is to create a division of boilers used in industry, especially boilers to generate heat and electricity, and describe the main parts of the boiler compiles in detail. Another task of this work is to build the basic procedure for a draft industrial boilers according to valid standards. These boilers are used for strength calculation, where the calculated pressure-resistant components and thermal calculation, in which are heat areas projectet.
Fluid boiler CFB for wood biomass combustion, setam paramters 150 t/h; 9,3 MPa; 530 °C

This diploma thesis deals with the control calculation of fluid biomass boilers with circulating fluidized bed. The introduction briefly introduced fluidized bed boilers and explained what biomass is. Furthermore there is a stoichiometric calculation of combustion. The calculation of the losses and the efficiency of the boiler is following. Desulphurization is calculated briefly. The main part is devoted to the design and calculation of individual heat exchanging surfaces: superheater P1, superheaters 2 and 3, the wall superheater, the return chamber, hanging tubes, economizer and air heater. At the end is calculated total tolerance boiler. Work is completed with a diagram of temperature of working media and combustion.
Heating and ventilation of the exhibition hall

The bachelor thesis solves the heating, preparation of the hot water and the ventilation of the building which will serve for exhibiting and sale of bathrooms and their equipment. The theoretical part deals with theme of underfloor heating. The computational part contains the design of heating. Transfer of the heat to the rooms is ensured by plate radiators, convectors and by underfloor heating in the largest room of the building. There is mixed heating designed for preparation of the hot water. The building will be ventilated forcibly. Gas condensing boiler is designed as a heat source. The work also deals with all the necessary equipment for the system.
Design of heat recovery steam generator with two pressure levels

This Master’s thesis focuses on the design of vertical heat recovery steam generators. This work focuses on three main objectives. The first objective is to describe the heat recovery steam generators, there basic principle and construction. The second focal objective is thermal calculation, design of heat tranfer surfaces and choice of materials. The third objective was to calculate the boiler loss, hydraulic calculation and subsequent design of the drum dimensions.
Heat Recovery Steam Generator with Two Pressure Levels

This master‘s thesis deals with the design of horizontal heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) with two pressure levels after a combustion turbine. In the introduction part is performed thermal calculation and proposal of a heat transfer surfaces. Furthermore, are suggested dimensions of the drums and pipes for flooding and transferring. The emphasis is placed on the fulfillment the required parameters of steam and flue gas at HRSG outlet. At the end is calculated loss of boiler draft and made technical documentation a drawing of the boiler.
Changing the fuel base of the coal boiler

The diploma thesis contains calculations of gasification of coal boiler. The first part of thesis contains stochiometric calculations, heat balance and calculations of combustion chamber. In the next part are calculations of heat exchange surfaces and at the end of this part are calculations of regenerative air heater and total boiler balance. Calculations are made by regard to investments costs, preservation of the steam parameters and keeps emissons limits.
Gas Boiler - 220 t/h

For set parameters of a steam and a boiler feed water is designed a thermal and dimensional plan of the boiler, allowing high efficient requests. A boiler is used for combustion of blast furnace gas contains 10% of a natural gas used as a stabilisation element.
